The academic year begins in the JFK Jr. Forum with the IOP's Fall 2021 Resident Fellows Ashley Allison, Honorable Sara Gideon, Holly Kuzmich, Arnon Mishkin, Trymaine Lee, and Congressman Mac Thornberry, moderated by IOP Director Mark D. Gearan.

This event will take place in the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, with the Resident Fellows attending in person.  We will be strictly observing the HKS health and safety protocols that include a maximum venue capacity of 100 attendees.

IOP Resident Fellows are back in-person this semester to lead study groups on challenges facing our country, including partisanship and coalition building, the Black experience in US democracy, national security and politics, and state and federal campaigning and governing. The Fall 2021 Resident Fellows cohort includes:

  • Trymaine Lee - MSNBC Correspondent, Host of "Into America" podcast
  • Congressman William "Mac" Thornberry - Chair, House Armed Services Committee, U.S. Representative (R, TX-13) (1995-2021)
