In addition to running campaigns in 2008 and 2011 as a Federal Candidate in Canada, Betsy has served in many capacities to encourage women to enter politics and public service, including as a Facilitator for Campaign Colleges for Women (2011-2019), on the Harvard Women's Leadership Board. and as a fellow at Harvard Medical School (1999-2001) and at the Harvard Medical School (2002-2004).
