Meeting Method:

Associated Program:
Internships & Careers

Ever wondered how some people get where they are? Like how IOP Spring 2018 Fellow Adam Conner founded the Facebook DC office and where he went from there? Join us on Monday, 10/7 at 7pm in L166 at the IOP -over dinner- to find out!

At the start of the fall semester, when the idea of a public service job or internship can seem like a hazy possibility in the far future, we’ll talk with Adam about his path from his undergraduate years to founding the DC office of Facebook and to the Center for American Progress, where he is the Vice President of Technology Policy, and the unique ways different factors, like uncertainty and risk, play out in career paths that aren’t always clearly mapped out.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of the different ways to think about and approach public service opportunities for yourself!
