Susan Brackin Hirschmann is a partner in Williams & Jensen, one of the top ten lobbying firms in Washington, D.C.. From 1997 - 2002, Ms. Hirschmann served as Chief of Staff to the Majority Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives, Tom DeLay (R-TX). In that position, she worked with the House and Senate Leadership to develop and execute Republican priorities and managed Congressman DeLay's personal, district and Whip offices. Ms. Hirschmann was named one of the top Hill staffers by the National Journal and Roll Call Magazine; and was commended by the Senate of her home state, Alabama, with a resolution for her achievement.

Before joining the Whip office, Ms. Hirschmann was the Chief of Staff for Congressman Van Hilleary (R-TN) and prior to that, served as Executive Director of Eagle Forum, a pro-family, national grassroots organization. At Eagle Forum, she lobbied members of congress and activated volunteers on issues. She also managed the organization's Political Action Committee, developed the direct mail and large donor fundraising program, trained volunteers and appeared before the media on behalf of the organization. Ms. Hirschmann resides in Alexandria, VA with her husband.
