Alex Burns
Alex Burns is a political reporter for The New York Times, covering both New York politics and the 2016 presidential election. Prior to joining the Times, he was a reporter and editor for Politico, where he covered congressional and Senate elections and the 2012 presidential race. A 2008 graduate of Harvard College, Burns was editor-in-chief and United States section editor of the Harvard Political Review. He lives in New York City with his wife, MJ Lee, who is a political reporter for CNN. He graduated from Harvard College in 2008.
