Sebastian Feune
Sebastian Ramirez Feune is a junior at Harvard College, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is concentrating in Government with a secondary in Economics.
On campus, his interests largely lie within politics and affinity groups. As the Co-Chair of Fellows and Study Groups, he ran a program that hosts six residential Fellows and manages over 70 student liaisons. He works towards making the Institute of Politics (IOP) at the Harvard Kennedy School an open space for uplifting marginalized voices from diverse communities, especially those of Indigenous and Black backgrounds. In the IOP, he has served as the Special Projects Lead for Politics of Race and Ethnicity, a volunteer tutor in the Citizenship Tutoring program, and has written about his Indigenous identity in the Harvard Political Review.
Sebastian is also a member of several cultural groups, including Fuerza Latina and Mariachi Veritas, and hosts his podcast, Otomí, named after his grandfather's Indigenous ancestry.
