Rishi Hazra
Rishi Hazra is a first-year student at Harvard College studying Chemistry and Economics. Having grown up in the beautiful state of Washington, Rishi is not only an avid hiker, but also a staunch proponent of sustainability. His dedication to local governmental advocacy led to the successful implementation of a Climate Action Plan in the City of Sammamish. Rishi has also engaged extensively in public communication, proposing a new educational model in the Seattle Times, sharing his philosophy on the purpose of life in a TEDx talk, and publishing green chemistry research in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
Outside of his intellectual interests, Rishi finds joy in music. Though classically trained, he records pop piano and vocal covers on YouTube and has recently taken up guitar.
With aspirations to pursue a joint J.D./Ph.D. program, Rishi aims to build a career at the intersection of law and science. He hopes to eventually run for public office, driven by his commitment to public service and his vision for a sustainable future. Rishi is thrilled to support With Honor in their mission to combat polarization in Congress through the Director's Internship program this summer.
