Makenna Walko

Makenna Walko grew up in the Philadelphia area, where she went to the Baldwin School. At Harvard, she is a rising sophomore pursuing a joint concentration in English and Government, and is involved in the IOP, The Harvard Crimson, and WHRB. 

Outside of school, she runs her own nonprofit, Sole Rings & Things, and has interned in local politics and the publishing industry. When she is not working, you can find her attempting to balance out the chaos with a yoga class, trying—and probably failing—to center a bowl on the pottery wheel, or reading a cheesy romantic comedy with an iced coffee in hand. She is so excited to be contributing to the Crooked Media team this summer through the Director's Internship!
