Luke Schofield

Luke Schofield, a first-year student at Harvard College, is pursuing a concentration in Environmental Science & Public Policy. Growing up in Dahlonega, Georgia, a small town in rural Appalachia, his unique perspective has been shaped by the balance between the needs of both small communities and the environment around them. Starting at the local level, Luke hopes to leverage this background to advocate for government policies that ensure the protection and responsible management of public lands while simultaneously supporting innovation and development. He is a frequent patron of the country’s national parks and would love to chat about his passion for the junior ranger program.
