Millennials from more than 20 universities across the country will share their opinions about tonight’s first presidential debate in a digital town hall convened by Harvard’s Institute of Politics (IOP), located at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, in association with REVOLT Media and Purple. Live during the debate, IOP Polling Director John Della Volpe will question participants as they watch the conversation, and release the results online in real time throughout the evening.
Released in July, the IOP’s Millennial Agenda for the Next President asked young Americans what topics candidates must address to win their vote. The report found consensus on five topics: grow the economy; reduce terrorism; unite Americans to address inequality; inspire the post-9/11 unified America; and reduce the role of big money in politics. In case you missed it, see the results here.
