Overview

Environmental Defense Fund's mission is to preserve the natural systems on which all life depends. Guided by science and economics, EDF works to address the most serious environmental problems of our time. We are a global organization and work in North American, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

At EDF+Business, we believe companies, communities and the environment can thrive in unison – and we’re making it happen by forging unexpected partnerships that catalyze environmental leadership and collaboration across companies and supply chains. We combine cutting-edge science, economic expertise and unexpected partnerships to help high-impact companies transform business as usual.

EDF Europe (EDFE) is an affiliate and a leading international non-profit organization that creates transformative solutions to the most serious environmental problems. EDFE’s Sustainable Finance goal is to help redirect financial flows towards activities and projects that support the decarbonization of the real economy, with a particular focus on transport, oil & gas and insurance. We leverage EDF’s sectoral and scientific expertise and collaborate with financial institutions to identify real world tools and solutions.
