Data management and organizing for a digital project related to the archives of Doyle Lee Hamm (https://cccct.law.columbia.edu/content/doyle-lee-hamm-v-alabama). Subject material will be focused on criminal law and capital punishment.

Location & Format
The candidate must be in New York City for the duration of the internship for meetings and trainings.
Program Details
Interns will be given an introduction to the work being done by the Columbia Center for Contemporary Critical Thought. There will also be trainings with Columbia University Libraries about how to use Airtable, the knowledge management website we use. Outside of this, work is independent, but we are available to answer questions. Columbia Law School or the Center do not have intern cohorts, but we might have additional interns working with us during the summer.
Moderate Supervision: Intern will meet with their supervisor regularly, but will be given the opportunity to work on independent projects.
This Director's Internship Host may host additional undergraduate interns outside of the Director's Internship Program.
Experience coding for categorizing and organizing qualitative data would be helpful, but only requirement is interest in the subject.
