Zoe Ortiz is a rising sophomore in Mather House from Houston, Texas. She is hoping to concentrate in Government with a secondary in Latino Studies and a language citation in Spanish. At Harvard, she is heavily involved in the Latino community, serving as treasurer of Fuerza Latina, the pan-Latino organization on campus and is active in community wide events. She is also incredibly involved with Act on a Dream, the only student-led immigration advocacy organization, which also aims to make a welcoming space for undocumented students on campus, serving as their Director of Operations. Recently, she became a member of the Editorial Board for The Crimson. This summer, Zoe looks forward to interning for the National Partnership of New Americans (NPNA) working to advocate for the rights of New Americans through the fantastic initiatives created by NPNA and to contribute to their success.
