
Zainub Dhanani is a rising senior in Adams House from Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Comparative Study of Religion concentrator with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. On campus, Zainub is heavily involved in many social health organizations. She has previously served as Director of Health Education for Harvard's Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program, is a member of the Community Education and Outreach Committee of Harvard Drug and Alcohol Peer Advisors (DAPA), and serves as the Director of Development for Harvard VISION, which aims to recycle old eyeglasses for distribution in developing countries and provide free optical exams for communities in the Greater Boston Area. She is a prison mentor for Harvard Interfaith Prison Education and an active photographer for the Harvard Yearbook. Her interests are tied together by her strong passion for social medicine and community-based healthcare initiatives. This summer, Zainub is excited to be working at Prolepsis, where she hopes to use her experiences to address issues of health literacy, public health policy and community intervention in Greece.
