
Tijana Katushevska is a rising junior in Winthrop studying Economics with a secondary in Government. Outside the classroom she is part of the European Society and the South Slavic Society. She was involved in the IOP through the alternative spring break trip to New Jersey and as a WIL alumnae. She is originally from Macedonia and has a keen interest in anything European, from politics to literature and culture. The past summer Tijana had explored her interest in international development when she was interning in a rural area in Uganda through the Initiative to End Child Malnutrition. This summer, she is interning at the Special Olympics in London. She is excited to learn more about PR and marketing and work for such an exciting and dynamic charity.
