
Samara Ford is a rising junior in Eliot House. She studies History and Science focusing in medicine and society and is pursuing a citation in Spanish. She hopes to work in the field of public health and is excited to gain experience in an NGO concerned with patient advocacy and health policy. On campus, she has served on the board of the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers and teaches dance to middle school students as part of CityStep. She also works at Cabot Science Library, is a student facilitator for Life Sciences 1a, and acts as Assistant Director of Communications for an international, student-run nonprofit called YouthGlobe. In addition to her Director's Internship with the NY State Health Foundation, she looks forward to being a leader for the Freshman Urban Program this summer.
