Sam Arnold is a rising junior concentrating in Social Studies with a focus on American identity and its relationship to American society and institutions. Originally from Swarthmore, PA, Sam is extremely grateful for this opportunity to serve his hometown and help plan policy for the city of Philadelphia in the Office of Policy Planning and Coordination. On campus he is the co-manager of the Harvard Community Garden, a leader in the First-Year Urban Program, a member of the Environmental Action Committee, a bass in KeyChange (a capella group), and a tutor for the Roxbury Youth Initiative after school program. Apart from his interest in city politics, Sam is interested in urban agriculture and food systems reform in the US.
