Ross Svenson is a rising senior in Winthrop House from Ashburn, VA. He is concentrating in Government and pursuing a secondary in Spanish. Hailing from the DC suburbs, Ross has long had a passion for politics and public policy. Last summer, he interned in the White House Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. At Harvard, he serves as the Campaigns Director for the Harvard College Democrats and rows for the Varsity Lightweight Crew Team. Ross is also a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. This summer he will be interning in the UK Parliament with Labour MP Rachel Reeves. He looks forward to gaining a comparative political perspective and exploring the UK.
