Richa Chaturvedi is a rising junior in Cabot House from San Diego, California.  She is concentrating in Applied Math with an emphasis in government and a secondary in Computer Science.  Last summer she worked to create mathematical models that maximized the efficacy of social programs at Father Joe’s Villages, a nonprofit dedicated to providing housing, health services, and employment to homeless people.  On campus, she serves as co-president of the online food blog Crimson Crave and is a research assistant at the Institute of Quantitative Social Sciences.  She is excited to bring her passion for the intersection of mathematics, government, and non-biased information to Pew Researc and plans on finding the best restaurants in DC.
