Pooja Chandrashekar is a rising senior in Eliot House from Potomac Falls, Virginia. She is concentrating in biomedical engineering with a secondary in global health and health policy, and is fascinated by the intersection of healthcare and technology. As an advocate and speaker for girls in STEM, she is the founder of ProjectCSGIRLS, a national nonprofit working to encourage girls in computer science, and also serves on the board for She Rocks the World. At Harvard, she serves as Co-President of the Harvard Biomedical Engineering Society, Co-President of Harvard College Advocating Success for Kids (ASK) and a patient advocate at the ASK clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital, and Co-President of the Harvard College Crimson Care Collaborative in addition to conducting biomedical imaging, computational health informatics, and healthcare value research. Pooja is very excited to work at the National Health Service in London to understand how digital health innovation is driving better healthcare outcomes and increasing healthcare value in the English healthcare system.
