Phoebe Mesard is a rising junior in Mather House from Belmont, Massachusetts. She is concentrating in Social Studies and has studied both French and Arabic at Harvard. Outside of the classroom, she directs Mission Hill After School Program, Boston’s oldest and largest student-run after school program. She also volunteers at Y2Y, the nation’s first student-run homeless shelter for young adults, staffs Model UN conferences through the International Relations Council, and works as a research assistant at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is excited to expand her knowledge of the law and intern through the Criminal Law Internship Program at the Public Defender Service of Washington, DC.
