
Phillip Ramirez is a rising sophomore in Mather House concentrating in economics with a secondary in government. Born and raised a “military brat,” Phillip has lived all across the country, and moved to Harvard from Germany, where is father is currently stationed. He is involved in several activities across campus, but he spends most of his time outside of class as a member of the Boston Consortium Naval Reserve Officers Training Program. Upon graduation, Phillip will commission as an officer in the United States Navy, where he intends to pursue a career as a Naval Aviator or Surface Warfare Officer. This summer, Phillip is looking forward to working at the Department of Veteran Affairs in Washington D.C., where he will have the opportunity to work with and learn about an executive department that will one day mean so much to him and his fellow service members.
