Philip van Scheltinga is a rising junior in Cabot House, concentrating in History. Raised by Dutch parents in New York City, he has been primarily interested in International History and Diplomatic History. On campus, Philip is a member of the club soccer team, an actor in a handful of theatre productions, and a Stein Czar for Cabot House Committee. He is very excited to be working for TSA/Homeland Security this summer, where he hopes to somehow translate his defensive capabilities on the soccer field to the job of defending the country. He is also looking forward to spending time in Washington D.C. and taking full advantage of the IOP's Summer in Washington program.
