
Nicolas Jofre is a rising senior in Currier House concentrating in Social Studies with a Visual and Environmental Studies secondary. Nicolas is originally from Santiago, Chile, but comes to Cambridge by way of Southern California, where he now lives. While at Harvard, Nicolas has served as the Director of Act on Dream (Harvard College's immigration advocacy student group), a liaison to IOP Fellow and former Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, a member of the university's Scholars at Risk faculty committee, and a Peer Advising Fellow. This summer, he will work in Times Square assisting MTV's Public Affairs Office with the launch of its Power of 12 multi-media campaign, a network effort that seeks to increase youth involvement with the Presidential election.
