Mikhaila Fogel is a rising junior in Leverett House hailing from Portland, ME. She is a History and Literature concentrator with a focus in Modern Britain and Ireland. She intends to complete thesis research related to political discontent and historic justifications of violence. Mikhaila also studies conflict resolution, international relations, and global development, and is working towards a language citation in Modern Standard Arabic. Mikhaila is the current president of Hyperion Shakespeare Company, and has directed, sound designed, and performed in theatrical productions around campus. In addition, she is student custodian and crew leader for Dorm Crew, Harvard's student-run maintenance service. She looks forward to interning at the Department of Homeland Security Office of the White House Liaison, and is eager to better understand the process of actualizing national security policy.
