2017
Michelle Borbon is a rising junior in Currier House, concentrating in Social Studies with a focus on Latin America. She is from Phoenix, Arizona, and her parents are originally from Mexico. On campus, she is a member of the Harvard Debate Council, traveling to tournaments 4 times a semester. She is also the Advocacy Chair for Latinas Unidas, an organization which celebrates the beauty and success of Latina women at Harvard. In her free time, she likes painting and drawing. This summer, she is very excited to serve as a communications intern at the Advancement Project in DC, helping them tackle immigration issues, mass incarceration, and voting right violations across the United States.
