Michael Zachau

Michael Zachau Walkeris a rising Sophomore in Cabot House and is a potential Government concentrator. He is originally from Bethesda, Maryland but went to high school in Ankara, Turkey. This summer, he will be working as an intern on migration and human trafficking at the Solidarity Center, a non-profit affiliated to the AFL-CIO. On campus, Michael staffs both of Harvard's Model United Nations conferences and is a member of Harvard's Intercollegiate Model United Nations team. He also staffed Harvard Model Congress's Boston conference. At the Institute of Politics, he is involved with the civics program and has taught in South Boston and Cambridge. In addition, he works with international graduate students as a Course Assistant at the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning in a course designed to improve their communication and teaching skills. He is very excited to work with the Solidarity Center and learn more about migration and human trafficking.
