Michael Richard

Michael Richard is a rising junior in Mather House from Fitchburg, MA. He studies Economics and Government with an interest in wealth, inequality, education, and economic revitalization particularly in urban communities. Outside of the classroom he works with the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative addressing issues of socioeconomic diversity in higher education and rows crew for Mather's intramural team. In the past he has interned for U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren in her Boston Office, has represented his city as a delegate in the Working Cities Challenge sponsored by the Federal Res erve Bank of Boston and Living Cities, and has mentored youth in Dorchester with the Leadership Institute at Harvard College. Michael is incredibly excited to be a Fellow with the Partnership for Public Service this summer working in their Education and Outreach team, aiding emerging undergraduate and graduate students in pursuing formative and meaningful careers in the public sector.
