Megan Sims is a rising junior in Cabot House from Dallas, Texas. She is concentrating in Folklore and Mythology with a secondary in the History of Science. While at Harvard, Megan has served as President of Sexual Health Education and Advocacy throughout Harvard College, beenĀ a board member of Speak Out Loud, a staff Writer for The Harvard Independent, and a mentor through the Athena Program. Megan is excited to spend the summer doing LGBTQ+ advocacy at the Victory Institute, a continuation of her previous advocacy work at the National Council of Jewish Women and NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts. She hopes this work will carry over to her internship at the Office of BLGTQ Student Life next year and to her future advocacy.
