Meena Venkataramanan is a rising sophomore in Adams House from Tucson, Arizona. She plans to study Government and English with a secondary in South Asian Studies. At Harvard, Meena serves as an Institutes of Politics Communications Fellow and the Outreach Chair of the CIVICS program, through which she teaches a weekly civics class to Boston fifth-graders. In addition to liaising for Dan Balz, the Chief Correspondent of The Washington Post, Meena is a staff writer at The Harvard Crimson and the Harvard Political Review. She also competes on the Harvard Mock Trial team and is involved in several public service and cultural activities on campus. In her free time, Meena enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to be spending this pivotal summer in the nation’s capital engaging with the dynamic news cycle at ABC News Political Unit.
