Maura Duggan is a rising junior in Winthrop House from San Diego, CA. She is concentrating in History with a secondary in Economics. At Harvard, Maura is actively involved in the IOP’s Citizenship Tutoring program, which strives to bring together public service and policy discussion relating to immigration. When she is not studying or volunteering, her time is spent playing soccer, as she is a member of the Harvard women’s varsity soccer team. This summer Maura will be an intern at Purple Strategies, a bipartisan brand and public affairs corporate communications firm in Washington, DC. She is looking forward to the opportunity to deepen her understanding of the application of brand and communications strategy while working to achieve client initiatives alongside of the Purple Strategies team.
