Mariana De León is a rising sophomore in Eliot House from Santa María, California. She intends to pursue a joint concentration in History and Literature and Comparative Religion. On campus she is involved in the Small Claims Advisory Service because of its intersection between public service and law, the IOP’s Campaigns and Advisory program, Act on a Dream and club basketball. She also serves on the first year outreach committee of the Catholic Student Association. Mariana is excited to take her love for immigration, law and public service work this summer to New York where she will be interning with Sanctuary for Families.
