Makeila Jamison is a rising sophomore in Cabot House, originally from New York City. She plans to concentrate in Social Studies with a secondary in African and African American Studies. Outside of the classroom, she is a research assistant at the Kennedy School’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, plays on the Women’s Club Basketball team, and is apart of Harvard College Project for Justice, a group focused on prison reform. This summer, she looks forward to working at the Office of Assembly member Michael Blake and learning about the inner-workings of state legislatures as well as political campaigning.
