Makeda Daniel

Makeda Daniel is a rising senior at Harvard College from Boston, Massachusetts. She is studying the History of Science with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. On campus, she is heavily involved in the Phillips Brooks House Association, a student-run nonprofit public service organization, where she currently serves as the co-programming chair. She is also serves as Harvard’s Black Students’ Association’s community service chair and as the Mental Health Leadership Council intern as part of Harvard’s Center for African studies. Makeda is excited to be working with the US Senate Committee on Healthcare, Education, Labor, and Pensions as a health policy intern this summer. She looks forward to using her interest in health care policy and service to learn more about the advocacy work on the federal level.
