Luke Pumiglia is a rising Junior in Eliot House studying Human Evolutionary Biology. He is originally from rural upstate New York. At Harvard Luke dedicates the majority of his extracurricular time to his participation in the Army ROTC program, and plans to one day serve as an Army officer. He also plays on the Harvard Club Hockey team and enjoys playing intramural and pick-up sports. Luke is looking forward to spending his summer in Uganda, working with the Mbarara University of Science and Technology and Massachusetts General Hospital Health Collaborative, and learning about the complexities of public health.
