Leore Lavin is a rising senior hailing from New Jersey suburbia. She is concentrating in Earth and Planetary Sciences, with a focus in geophysics. On campus, Leore serves on the board of directors at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, plays Women's Club Ultimate Frisbee, and is writing a thesis on earthquake hazards. This summer, Leore will be interning at FEMA's DC headquarters, in their Office of Response and Recovery. She is looking forward to combining her passions for geo-science and humanitarian aid this summer and beyond.
