Laura Thorsett is a rising senior in Currier House hailing from Salem, Oregon. She is concentrating in Social Studies with a secondary in Statistics, focusing on the intersections between politics and inequality in the U.S. At Harvard, she is a member of a wide variety of organizations, including the Harvard Public Opinion Project, the IOP’s national poll of young people, as well as the Episcopal Chaplaincy and Consent Advocates and Relationship Educators. This summer she is thrilled to be able to further explore the American political landscape and public opinion polling through her work at the Pew Research Center.
