Jonathan Tan, a rising junior in Lowell House, was born and raised in Leeds, England. He is concentrating in Social Studies, and for his senior thesis will likely write about international relations in the Middle East. This summer, he will be working for MP Greg Mulholland, who is his local MP for the constituency Leeds North West. Jonathan is very much looking forward to working in the Houses of Parliament and getting an insider's perspective on the functioning of the British Government. He is particularly excited to be working for Mr Mulholland because he has seen him speak many times to members of the local community, and he also shares his passions for rugby and local English pubs. On campus, Jonathan works at the Harvard Law School for the Program on Negotiation, sings in the Callbacks a capella group, and enjoys playing basketball.
