Jennifer Horowitz is a rising junior at Harvard College concentrating in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations with a specialization in the Modern Middle East. She is interested in exploring how highly diverse communities can become engaged and organized around common threats, challenges, and crises. On campus she has served as a policy writer and member of the Harvard Kennedy School’s National Security Policy Board for the Institute of Politics. She is also a Design Editor for the Harvard Crimson and volunteers for the Harvard Small Claims Court Association. She is looking forward to spending July 4th in our country’s capital for the first time.
