James Piltch is a rising senior in Leverett House studying History and Literature with a focus on the political and cultural history of America in the 19th and 20th centuries. Outside of the classroom, he teaches fifth graders through the IOP's Civics Program, serves as a student member of the General Education Committee, and is a tour guide and greeter for the Admissions Office. James is particularly passionate about solving issues of educational and civic inequality and is incredibly excited to work at the MacArthur Foundation to explore its work to address these and many more issues.
