Jalin Cunningham is a rising senior in Eliot House from Nyack, New York. At Harvard, she studies History with a Sociology secondary, and outside of the classroom, she is Associate Managing Editor of The Crimson and a Peer Advising Fellow. She is interested in the intersection between media and social justice, and hopes to write a senior thesis about racial tensions that arose from American public housing. In her free time, Jalin enjoys exploring Cambridge’s many coffee shops, reading comedian autobiographies, and talking about Veep and the Bachelorette with her blockmates. She is thrilled to spend a summer at MTV Public Affairs, where she’ll be learning more about broadcasting social justice on a larger platform.
