Ilana Cohen is a rising sophomore from new York City studying Social Studies and Philosophy. As a passionate environmental activist, she serves as Vice President of Harvard Undergraduates for Environmental Justice and is a Divest Ed Fellow with the Better Future Project, helping to spearhead the fossil fuel divestment campaign on Harvard’s campus. On campus, she also works as an Associate U.S. Editor of the Harvard Political Review. In addition to environmental policymaking and journalism, Ilana is passionate about public service and open political discourse. Last fall, she served as a Community Engagement Liaison for Institute of Politics Fall Fellow Joe Heck and has been a Field Organizer for the Harvard College Democrats. She is also the Advocacy Chair of the undergraduate Women in Law organization.
