Heather Brown is a rising junior in Leverett House, originally from Tarrytown, New York. She studies Biomedical Engineering with a secondary field in Global Health and Health Policy. On campus, she pursues her passion for politics through her participation in the Harvard College Democrats and Harvard Political Union. Her last summer was dedicated to scientific research at the Institute of Biomedicine and Biotechnology of Cantabria in Santander, Spain, so Heather is extremely excited to dedicate this summer to public service. She looks forward to working in Senator Jeanne Shaheen’s office in Washington, D.C., the epicenter of American politics.
