NYC Open Data for All Initiative, New York NY
2017

Handong Park is a rising senior in Kirkland House from Timonium, Maryland. He is concentrating in Mathematics with a secondary in Computer Science. On campus, he is an active part of Kirkland's house life, serving as the House Committee Co-Chair. In addition, Handong also sings east-Asian a cappella music with Harvard FUSIAN and is a member of the Asian-American Dance Troupe. Hoping to explore how public service and governmental work can bring data-driven insights to more communities, Handong is excited to be working with the New York City Mayor's Office of Data Analytics on the Open Data for All Initiative to bring municipal government and residents together through open data.

Handong is also a Schaeffer Fellow. Read more about the program here
