Eduardo A. Gonzalez is a rising senior from La Verne, California, concentrating in Social Studies, with a focus field titled "Contemporary Latin American Immigration". On campus, he has served as a representative in the Undergraduate Council for three years, where he has advocated on behalf of undocumented students and first-generation students. Last summer, he worked as an Investigator for the Public Defender Service of Washington, D.C. through their Criminal Law Internship Program, which solidified his passion for public interest law. This summer, Eduardo is thrilled to continue his public interest work in New York City with Sanctuary for Families, a legal services provider for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and other forms of gender violence.
