Edgar Gonzalez Jr. is a rising junior in Cabot House studying Government with a secondary in Economics. Originally from Chicago, IL, he is president of the Harvard College Latino Men's Collective and secretary for Concilio Latino. He draws political cartoons for the Harvard Political Review and the Harvard Crimson, is a co-director for PBHA's Recent Immigrant Term-Time Enrichment (RITE) Program, and works with Harvard Student Agencies as both a tutor and a translator. Having worked last summer for Enlace Chicago, a nonprofit organization headquartered in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, Edgar is looking forward to working at the MacArthur Foundation to learn more about its work in neighborhoods like his and its areas of focus.
