
Dominique Erney is a rising junior at in Quincy House, originally from Gainesville, Florida. She is joint concentrating in Social Studies and African American Studies, with a secondary in English. She plans to focus her studies, and eventually her future career, on mass incarceration and criminal justice reform in America as a whole. To that end, this summer, Dominique is spending ten weeks in Washington D.C. interning with Justice Policy Institute, a national nonprofit organization that "is to is dedicated to reducing the use of incarceration and the justice system by promoting fair and effective policies." On campus, she is involved in the Harvard Dems, PRE in the IOP, theatre with HRDC, and she interns with Dean Miller in OSL. Dominique is very excited and grateful for the opportunity to spend the summer in D.C. learning about criminal justice reform-- a cause she is personally very close to, and one she plans to pursue for the rest of her life!
