Dennis Ojogho, a rising senior in Winthrop House, is a Government concentrator and proud native of Los Angeles, CA. Dennis is passionate about addressing social justice issues, including mass incarceration, voter disenfranchisement, and education inequality. As an editor for The Harvard Crimson, he enjoys writing op-eds and helping to shape the editorial stance of the paper each week. He is also a member of the IOP’s Citizenship Tutoring program. One of the most fulfilling aspects of Dennis’ Harvard experience has been the time he spends each week working one-on-one with recent immigrants to help them pass the U.S. Naturalization Test. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball with his friends. Dennis, who has long dreamed of working for a civil rights organization, is very excited about helping to advance social justice as an intern with the NAACP this summer.
