David Leeds is a rising senior in Kirkland House concentrating in History and Literature with a secondary in French. On campus, he is deeply involved in the International Relations Council as a member of Harvard’s Intercollegiate Model United Nations team and as a staffer of both of Harvard’s Model UN conferences. In addition to also being involved in the Institute of Politics, he is a board member of the Francophone Society and a contributing writer for Change-Magazine. Originally from New York City, he has had an interest in politics his entire life, interning with elected representatives at the city, state, and national levels. This summer, he is looking forward to further pursuing his interest in using government as a means of improving urban communities through his internship with the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Washington, DC.
