Connor Harris is a rising junior in Lowell House, originally from Greenwich, CT. Though a joint concentrator in mathematics and physics, he has also long been interested in urban and environmental issues, an interest inspired by childhood trips to New York City. To this end, he founded the Transportation and Urban Planning Society, an organization for undergraduates interested in urban planning, and serves as an editor for the new student publication Harvard College Review of Environment and Society. When not working, Connor enjoys improving his knowledge of Spanish and German, composing music, singing with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, running along the banks of the Charles, and writing a mathematics textbook for advanced high-school students. He looks forward to his opportunity to work on improving public transportation to Massachusetts' small cities.
